Manchester United are ready to offer terms to Costa Rican whizkid Luis Jose Hernandez.

Hernandez is tied to Costa Rican giants Deportivo Saprissa, where officials have confirmed he'll sign for United.

The 17 year-old midfielder trialed at United last season and after monitoring his progress this term, the English giants plan to bring him to Europe this year.

Saprissa youth chief Randall Chacon revealed to local media: "The information I have is that this boy, Hernandez, is almost certain to be signed by Manchester United."
