Javi Venta is attracting rival Spanish Liga interest after declaring he will be leaving Villarreal in the summer.
The 34 year-old fullback's contract expires in June and he intends to move on from the Yellow Submarine.
Keen to snap up Venta are Deportivo La Coruna and Sporting Gijon.
