Deportivo La Coruna have swooped for Sao Paulo midfielder Paulo Assuncao.
The former Atletico Madrid and Porto midfielder passed a medical on Monday at the Galician club.
When the 32-year-old puts pen to paper on his contract, he will become Deportivo de La Coruna's second signing after Silvio Manuel Pereira joined on loan from Atletico Madrid until the end of the season.
