Deportivo La Coruna president Augusto Cesar Lendoiro was delighted with his team's victory over Real Madrid last night.

Lendoiro said: "To beat Real Madrid is a celebration for everyone here. There is no way they can win in the Riazor after so many years. We dominated a team that probably will be champions of the Liga, although they did not play particularly well."
