Deportivo La Coruna president Augusto Cesar Lendoiro is resisting calls for the sacking of coach Miguel Angel Lotina.

Sunday's defeat to Almeria left Depor five points from safety, but after consulting with each of his directors yesterday, Lendoiro has so far chosen to hold fire.

AS says Lendoiro is sticking with Lotina, despite several of his board calling on him to make a change this week.
