Former Newcastle United midfielder Jonas Gutierrez has returned to Spain.

Jonas was released by Newcastle this summer and is due to sign for Deportivo La Coruna this morning.

The Argentine joins Depor as a free agent.

Jonas has previous Spanish Liga experience with Real Mallorca.

If he passes his medical at the Riazor today, Jonas will sign terms with Depor.
