Deportivo La Coruna are finalising a deal for Wigan Athletic striker Oriol Riera.

Riera is already in A Coruña and on Monday he will undergo his medical before putting pen to paper on a loan contract.

In principle, he will join Depor on loan until the end of the season, although there is the possibility that he could stay at the club until 2016 if they avoid relegation to the second tier.

Last season, at Osasuna, he scored 13 goals in La Liga before leaving the club in a deal worth €2.5m.
