Deportivo La Coruna are interested in Velez Sarsfield defender Hernan Pellerano.

Depor see the 23 year-old as a natural replacement for Fabricio Coloccini, who is expected to quit the Riazor at the end of this season.

Depor chief Ricardo Moar will travel to Argentina this month to watch Pellerano and also Estudiantes midfielder Pablo Alvarez in action. Depor see Alvarez as a January target, while they're prepared to wait until the summer before moving for Pellerano.

During the summer, Real Murcia attempted to land Pellerano's brother, Cristian, a midfielder with Racing Avellaneda.
