Deportivo La Coruna emerges as option for Chelsea striker Diego Costa

Deportivo La Coruna have emerged as an option for Chelsea striker Diego Costa.

AC Milan and Besiktas have both enquired about loaning the striker until the end of 2017, and La Voz de Galicia says Deportivo have entered the mix.

Costa could sign for Atletico immediately and spend the next six months on the bench — but is unwilling to jeopardise his chances of making Spain's World Cup squad for next summer.

Antonio Conte has made it clear to the 28-year-old that there is no way back at Stamford Bridge, despite a perceived lack of firepower at Chelsea.

Costa moved to West London from Atletico in the summer of 2014.

And Diego Simeone has never hidden his desire to reunite with the striker in the Spanish capital.
