Depor striker Xisco resists Reading interest

Deportivo La Coruna striker Xisco has ruled out a move to Reading after insisting he wants to stay with the Spanish side this summer.

Xisco has not discussed his future with Deportivo officials, but insists he would rather fight for a first-team place with the La Liga outfit than move to the Premiership.

He told La Opinion de la Coruna: "I do not want to know anything about the English clubs.

"They are not interesting to me because I want to return to Deportivo this summer.

"I have still not spoken to anybody and it is the end of the season. I insist that my first option is Deportivo.

"I prefer not to speak much about my future because in La Coruna they know my intention to play in the first team.

"I want a chance to play with Depor because I believe I have the ability to play in the Primera Division."
