Jeremy Brockie says his loan spell with MLS club Toronto FC has been very fruitful under the watchful of Ryan Nelsen.
The Wellington Phoenix striker has spent the past few months in Canada with the Reds but his stint ends after this weekend's trip to DC United.
Upon preparing for his departure, Brockie told MLSsoccer.com that his stay at the BMO Field has been very educational thanks to his former New Zealand teammate Nelsen.
"Ryan is a very good coach and a good leader," Brockie said of the former Blackburn Rovers, QPR and Tottenham defender.
"He is very detailed and will keep us doing things on the training paddock until we get it right. He is very professional and he is always trying to spread a positive message through the dressing room whether it is good times or bad times.
"I've learned a couple of things off him as well and I look forward to taking that back to the A-League."
