Departing Man City fullback Bacary Sagna admits one big regret

Departing Manchester City fullback Bacary Sagna regrets not doing more in the Champions League during his time at the Etihad.

The 34-year-old won the League Cup with City and helped the club reach their first Champions League semi final against Real Madrid.

Speaking about getting knocked out of the competition by the La Liga giants he added: "Obviously the Champions League semi final leaves some regrets because to me we had the chance to beat Real Madrid.

"After drawing here we could have done better in the second leg. Hopefully as a team we will learn from it and hopefully the team will be better in the future."

Sagna's next club has yet to be announced but he has been linked with a move to West Ham.
