Steve Cotterill has not closed the door on a return to Notts County after he announced on Sunday that he would leave the club. The former Cheltenham and Burnley boss told the Nottingham Post: "I would not rule it out, I would have no fears about coming back.

"Maybe when the debt isn't here and when the club is in a position to be pushed on, there might be something there.

"Hopefully the people running the club have a long, fruitful stay here. But maybe just now it is not the right time for me."
