Denmark's fitness coach Jens Bangsbo is unimpressed by Juventus striker Nicklas Bendtner's behaviour.

The on-loan Arsenal forward was arrested for drink driving at the weekend and he has been subsequently banned from playing for his country for six months.

"Yes, I'm disappointed," Bangsbo told DR Sport. "Because I saw this as an opportunity for him and because at times, when I have worked with him, he has been good at doing the things he was told. He was very focused.

"And this was one of the qualities which made me think I could recommend him to Juventus. He lived up to that for a long time, they were pleased with his attitude and development.

"It is not a big deal at either Juventus or in Italy. There have been a few stories in the Italian newspapers, but it is not something which generates headlines," he continued.

"I think they will handle this matter in a sober way. And I don't think you should expect Nicklas to play more during this period."
