Denis Stracqualursi has paid tribute to Everton after leaving the Blues during the summer.

The Argentine targetman spent last season on loan with the Blues before returning home to seal a move to San Lorenzo.

"Playing in that stadium was like a beautiful dream and something which I will never forget," the striker told evertonfc.com.

"I will be grateful all my life for the kindness with which I was treated. Some of the nicest things that happened in my life happened there.

"The year at Everton was the best year of my career and I will never forget those amazing fans."
