Arsenal midfielder Denilson is determined to win a trophy this season and break a five-year drought for the club.
The Gunners have not won any silverware since the 2005 FA Cup and on the weekend, their Premier League title was put in major doubt after losing to Chelsea 3-0 which saw them slip 11 points behind the league leaders.
But the Brazilian is confident that the North London club can come away with some sort of trophy and repa ythe faith shown in the young players but manager Arsene Wenger.
"When you lose people say things that we don't have the experience, but Arsene Wenger believes in us, so you have to have confidence," Denilson told Sky Sports News on Sunday.
"In training you have to focus and you have to believe in him. He gives us the opportunity, you have to show it.
"Yesterday, Chelsea scored three goals and were better than us.
"We have to have confidence this season. It's a long time since we won a trophy, so we have to win a trophy this season anyway."
