Clint Dempsey has urged Fulham to do all they can to keep teammate Jimmy Bullard.

"It's important to keep your best players to help continue our run of form - you don't want to be changing much," said Dempsey.

"Jimmy's a guy who has a lot of energy. He's good in the locker room and has good banter.

"He's the guy that likes to make people laugh, he gets around the pitch well, is a good passer of the ball and it's good having him here.

"It's one of those things - I understand he has to do what's best for him and his family.

"But he would be a big miss, any of our players would be a big miss.

"We're playing well right now, have a good team, a small but effective group and we're trying to make the most of it."
