Clint Dempsey was amongst the goals as Fulham recorded a relatively easy 3-0 win over West Bromwich Albion in the English Premier League on Tuesday night. The Cottagers bounced out of the drop zone thanks to the win which was made possible by a first-half goal from Simon Davies before he provided two perfect corners for Dempsey and Brede Hangeland to head home.
Davies' 30-yard drive in extra time of the first half could not be kept out by Baggies keeper Scott Carson before Dempsey nodded home his sixth league goal of the season from the edge of the six-yard box in the 56th minute.
Hangeland completed the rout just after the hour-mark as Fulham moved up to 13th on the table with just their fourth win of the season.
