Fulham striker Clint Dempsey is in awe of teammate Pavel Pogrebnyak after his hat-trick against Wolves.

Dempsey was full of praise for the Russian after the game. p>"He's playing really well and we're happy to have him," Dempsey told fulhamfc.com. "Five goals in three games is awesome!

"The Bundesliga is a tough league and he's done well at Stuttgart and he's come here and shown that he has a lot of quality and hit the ground running and hopefully he can keep it going.

"It's always going to be difficult to keep that type of return rate as far as goals per games but hopefully he can keep going as long as he can because he's really given us a lift.

"He really helps the team out, he's big, strong, holds the ball up well and he's lethal in front of goal."
