Clint Dempsey is keen to hit the goal trail for Tottenham.

Dempsey has netted an historic winner at Manchester United since his deadline-day move to Tottenham - but he wants more after scoring 23 for Fulham last season.

The American striker said: "I'd like to have better numbers, but at the same time I'm playing consistently at a good level.

"It's about getting more goals and assists."
