Manchester City defender Martin Demichelis has warned teammates they must not crumble like title rivals Liverpool.

City will win the title with victory over West Ham United after their triumph against Aston Villa last night.

Demichelis said: "There's been many unexpected results in the last fixtures, and that proves that in football, or sport in general, until you win you cannot take anything for granted.

"We should not believe the title is finished.

"The Liverpool Palace game is a great lesson. They were winning 3-0 and in 12 minutes Palace drew.

"It seemed impossible but Liverpool dropped points and it was a big surprise, so it's a great lesson for us to learn. We still have games to win."
