Leyton Orient midfielder Jason Demetriou has welcomed reports linking him with Newcastle United.

He told skysports.com: "You never know what are just rumours really and I'm delighted to be linked to such big clubs, but I've not heard anything from the clubs mentioned yet.

"It's just good to get noticed really because it means the decent performances aren't getting missed."
