West Ham United defender Guy Demel is desperate for a Premier League chance.

The Hammers face Blackpool in today's promotion playoff final.

He said: "It's the reason why I came and signed for West Ham - to play in the Premier League.

"West Ham is a big club and has to play in the Premier League.

"It's my first time in England and to play at Wembley too, it's unbelievable.

"If we play like we did in the last couple of games we'll be all right."
