Tottenham midfielder Mousa Dembele wants to prove his worth at White Hart Lane by contributing more goals from midfield.
The Belgium international joined Spurs from Fulham three years ago but has managed to find the net on just five occasions for the north London club.
The 28-year-old, who has two years remaining on his contract at White Hart Lane, is keen to not only hit the target himself, but also create opportunities for his teammates.
"I want to score goals and make goals. I've played a few games on the right now and I've been able to focus on being dangerous in front of goal and trying to do that more and more.
"The statistics will show that I need to score more goals so this is something I want to improve this season and show I can be more potent in front of goal," he told the club's official website.
