Mousa Dembele has stated that Tottenham Hotspur are remaining calm amid their unexpected Premier League title challenge this season.

Spurs claimed a fine 2-1 victory over Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday and following the result, many believe that the North Londoners are now one of the few favourites to claim the premiership.

Despite their unexpected title challenge though, midfielder Dembele has stated that the players are not getting carried away and are taking every game as it comes.

The Belgian international told the club's official website: "We still have to keep going game by game.

"The next match is always important and we'll see where we end up, but it's looking very positive for us. We won't try to dream, we'll just have to stay very concentrated in each game."

Spurs take on Fiorentina in the Europa League on Thursday before tackling Crystal Palace in the FA Cup fifth round on the weekend.
