Mousa Dembele's first appearance for Tottenham thoroughly impressed manager Andre Villas-Boas.
The Belgian midfielder, who made the move from Fulham last week, opened his Spurs account after coming on as a half-time sub in the 1-1 draw with Norwich City on the weekend.
Dembele netted a brilliant goal with a classy finish in the 68th minute at White Hart Lane and his debut showing was certainly not lost on his new boss.
"Mousa looked extremely good and it was a great finish," Villas-Boas told the club's official website.
"He's a player who has tremendous technical skills, very creative playing forward and he really improved our game in the second half.
"He's a player we can count on for the season."
