Former Roma striker Marco Delvecchio will give himself until January to find a new club before retiring.
"There are two clubs interested, but neither are Italian. There has been no contract within Italy, but there is still time."
In his 16-year career, Delvecchio has never played outside Serie A and has no intention of dropping into calcio's basement.
"Padova, Cremonese, Messina and lots of others have made approaches, but Delvecchio will not play in Serie B, let alone Serie C. He only plays in the top flight," Rizzato continued.
"At the end of October teams generally tend to look for reinforcements, but if he doesn't get the right offer as a player, he will become a Coach. The January market is the last chance."
