Delph admits confidence in the claret and blue camp has been restored after Tuesday's Capital One Cup triumph.
But the midfielder has warned against complacency when the Baggies make the short trip to B6 on Sunday.
"Our confidence is very high at the moment," said Delph to Villa's website.
"We are jumping through hoops but we are realistic and we know that because of that performance it doesn't mean we are just going to turn up on Sunday and smash them.
"We have got to work as we did on Tuesday and hopefully we will get the three points.
