Fabian Delph has been named the Aston Villa supporters Player of the Year.
The 24-year old midfielder is so far ahead in voting with two matches remaining that he has already captured the award after landing 11 Man of the Match votes from the Villa faithful which has him on 45 points.
"Since I came to Villa, I have wanted to do well," said Delph.
"I had a good start to the season and then it was a case of maintaining my form.
"It's a great honour to win this award. It's great that the fans have acknowledged that I've done well for the club."
At time of writing, Villa skipper Ron Vlaar sits second on 24 points ahead of Leandro Bacuna and Gabby Agbonlahor both on 20. Marc Albrighton is fifth with 19 points and Christian Benteke is sixth on 13.
Villa fans will still get to vote for the matches against Manchester City on Wednesday night and Tottenham on Sunday but Delph cannot possibly be beaten from the current position he is in.
