Dele Alli pleased to contribute as Tottenham come from behind in Europe

Tottenham youngster Dele Alli put in a stellar performance in his side's 3-1 Europa League win against Qarabag on Thursday night.

The 18-year-old won the Man of the Match award in his European debut, setting up Son Heung-min's second goal, as Spurs kicked off their European campaign with a come-from-behind win,

Speaking after the game, Alli told BT Sport: "It was a solid performance from us.

"We were unfortunate to give away the first goal but it was a good overall display.

"They made us work for the win - they're not a bad side. They did well.

"I'm happy for Son that he got two goals and that I played a part. It's always good to help the team."
