Delap hoping for life after Stoke

Rory Delap accepts his Stoke City career has come to an end.

He has no complaints about being eased out of the Stoke side following transfer business which included the arrival of Steven Nzonzi last summer.

Now playing with Barnsley, he told BBC Radio Sheffield: "I'd like to think if I do well enough then there'll be something for me here. I'm out of contract in the summer and I want to keep playing, so I have to prove I can do a job over the next couple of months."
