Alessandro del Piero is backing Juventus' move for Sampdoria striker Antonio Cassano.
It's been suggested the deal is stalling because Cassano fears he will be forced to play second fiddle to Del Piero in Turin.
But the Juve captain insists: "I take no offense, my life is football and I'm not afraid of the arrival of Cassano or any other.
"However, I see no competition: we play different roles and may well coexist. As long as the player arrives, everything's OK."
