Del Piero had helped Juve to fight back from going 2-0 down before they conceded a late Palermo winner and he said afterwards: "With a draw, we would left disappointed. It was obviously even more one-sided after halftime.

"I am disappointed with the result, in the second half we played a very good game."

On Juventus' interest in Palermo striker Amuari, Del Piero added: "In so far as he and the club, I do not deal with these things. But today he played well and produced two beautiful goals."
