Alessandro del Piero was delighted with Juventus' battling 1-0 victory over Atalanta on Sunday.

"I'm content with my display and Pavel's goal," the Italian international wrote on his official website.

"It was a tough game against an Atalanta side who were well placed on the field of play and they confirmed that they deserve their excellent position in the table.

"We only came good in the closing stages, but this victory is one which gives us morale ahead of our next match."

Del Piero was again dropped to the bench by boss Claudio Ranieri, but made a difference after his half-time introduction.
