After their Supa Copa victory at Real Madrid, Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido declared his team "the best in Spain".

Sevilla thumped Real 5-3 at the Santiago Bernabeu and a beaming Del Nido said: "Sevilla are the best team in Spain, we only know how to win. We are at the same impressive level which we finished last season. We have announced that Sevilla are here. And we have demonstrated that to win something this season it will be necessary to beat us.

"We have won in the Bernabeu having scored many goals and played spectacular football. You cannot ask for more. What other team has won in 15 months five titles? I believe that nobody has. We are going to continue winning titles."
