Amauri clinched a vital winner for Juventus in their Europa League qualifier first-leg clash at Sturm Graz.

Juventus left it late before taking a 2-1 victory from their visit to Sturm Graz.

Leonardo Bonucci had the Serie A giants in front after 16 minutes, but Gordon Schildenfeld appeared to have snatched an equaliser for the hosts eight minutes from the end.

Juve, however, had other ideas and Amauri pounced at the death to ensure that they head back to Italy with their noses slightly in front.

Juve coach Gigi Del Neri says the team has not forgotten about last season's errors, which contributed to the side conceding a goal this evening.

"I suffered a lot, as we did not do what we needed to," Del Neri said after the match to TuttoSport. "We also do not need to be scared when we concede a goal.

"We paid the ultimate price and conceded a goal due to our psychological problems, but we must forget about last season and move forward without thinking about the demons that haunted us.

"We can do much, much better. This does not sit well with me compared to how my teams normally play."
