Del Neri tells Juventus: Get me Arsenal ace Walcott

Arsenal winger Theo Walcott is being linked with a move to Juventus. Upon his appointment yesterday as new Juve coach, Gigi del Neri declared his intention to land "two major signings" this summer.

"There are already many high quality players here and we need to think carefully about what we need and where," insisted Del Neri.

Key to any success next season will be new winger signings for Juve as Del Neri intends to employ his famous 4-4-2 system.

Walcott is top of his shopping list, along with Bayern Munich's Arjen Robben and Valencia star David Silva. While in attack, Del Neri intends to return to Sampdoria for Giampaolo Pazzini.

The big names to make way will be David Trezeguet, midfielder Diego and goalkeeper Gigi Buffon, says La Stampa.

Trezeguet will be replaced by Pazzini, while Buffon will be sold to fund Juve's signing spree. For Diego, there will be no room for the Brazilian in Del Neri's system and his name will be circulated across Europe this summer.
