Spain coach Vincente del Bosque says Jose Mourinho has every right to drop Real Madrid captain Iker Casillas.

Del Bosque insists Mourinho made the decision in "Madrid's best interests".

"That's the coaches decision, I have nothing to say [on this matter]," Del Bosque told Deportes Cuatro. "It should not surprise us at all. He will have done what he thought was best for the team.

"[As for Antonio Adan's inclusion in the Spain squad?] It depends. All players are eligible."
