Former Real Madrid and Spain coach Vicente del Bosque is happy to see Luis Enrique take charge of La Roja.
Ex-Barcelona coach Enrique was unveiled by the RFEF yesterday.
"He is at the level of the best Spanish coaches and, sure, he comes with the best intentions of doing his best," said Del Bosque.
"His character? We are each from our father and our mother and some of us are different, what is needed is that he represents the Spanish team well and that he does the best job possible.
"The structures of Spanish football are very solid, strong, both in the youth system and professional football, and it is a good moment to take the Spanish team regardless of whether the last three major championships have not had a good result."
