Celtic boss Ronny Deila felt his side produced a strong display in their Europa League opener on Thursday night.
The Hoops drew 2-2 with Red Bull Salzburg in Austria to kick off their Group D campaign with a point and the performance was welcomed by the manager who believed his players were committed to the cause throughout the contest.
"It was a good result against a very good team. They are a difficult team to play against with their intensity and quick, fit players," said Deila.
"We worked much better as a team today and stood the distance better over the 90 minutes but they deserved the draw in the end.
"They had chances but we had a fantastic goalkeeper today. That's important but I'm pleased with the point and happy with the performance."
Celtic will now turn their attentions to the Scottish Premiership where they will host Motherwell on Sunday ahead of their second European fixture against Dinamo Zagreb on October 2.
