Liverpool's crocked defender Philipp Degen has revealed he's been badgered for autographs in hospital.

Degen has told how he was pestered for autographs while in hospital with a punctured lung following a collision during the 2-1 win over Crewe in the Carling Cup on Tuesday.

Swiss international Degen, 25, said: "All the other patients recognised me. But the doctors imposed an autographs ban - I was not allowed to sign any."
