Tottenham's Jermain Defoe suggests his performance in Thursday night's Europa League win over Dinamo Tbilisi showed the general football public that he is not about to leave the club.
The 30-year old striker has been linked with a possible White Hart Lane exit for much of the summer but he feels his two-goal showing in the 3-0 second leg win over the Georgian side shows he clearly wants to remain a Spurs player.
"If you have seen me tonight I answered all the questions," he told ITV4.
"I went out there and worked hard which is what I have always done since I've been at the club."
