Jermain Defoe knows he needs regular action at Tottenham to stay in England's World Cup plans.
The striker has managed just one Premier League start this season.
Defoe said: "It would be a dream (to be involved), then having a good season and making sure I'm on the plane (to Brazil). To score the goals to help get us there, at Wembley, that would be special.
