Defoe and Wilshere go head-to-head on Tottenham-Arsenal bet

Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe has accepted a £3,000 bet with Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere.

The Gunners youngster put the bet forward on Twitter last week regarding Arsenal finishing higher than Spurs with Defoe this morning accepting it.

Defoe tweeted: "hear that @JackWilshere I'll take on your bet 3g to charity if spurs finish above arse if not all my arsenal followers send me £1 4 charity.”

The loser of the bet will offer £3,000 to a charity of their choice with Wilshere asking for a £1 each from his Tottenham-supporting Twitter followers if Arsenal finish higher and Defoe wanting the same in reverse.
