Viola sports chief Pantaleo Corvino is targeting South America for two signings in January - a centre-half and a midfielder. Boca Juniors defender Ezequiel Munoz is his prime target for a new centre-half, while in midfield Rodriguez, 20, has come to his notice.

The Uruguay U20 international is tied to Defensor Sporting and Corvino will be in Uruguay early next week for talks about the youngster.
