New York Red Bulls continued their scoring form on the weekend with two goals but their poor defensive record was also maintained as they conceded twice to draw with San Jose Earthquakes 2-2 on the weekend.
Since their opening two defeats of the season, the Red Bulls have been in a rich vein of form up forward with 15 goals in four matches but they have let in 10 which is the equal-third worse defensive record in the league.
Star striker Thierry Henry loves a goal or two but he has made it vehemently clear recently that the defensive efforts of the team need to improve and was again harping on about it after the home draw with the Quakes.
"But its way better (if you can defend). You win championships when you defend well.
"We did find an OK balance up front; let's see if we can try to do it at the back.""If we go all the season winning and conceding, I will sign now," Henry said.
