Defender David Luiz expecting tough run for Chelsea

The fixtures will not get any easier for Chelsea over the coming weeks, according to David Luiz.

The Blues sit second on the Premier League table having beaten West Ham United, Watford and Burnley in their opening three matches.

Ahead of Sunday's trip to Swansea City, which will be summer signing Luiz's second debut for the West Londoners, the Brazilian feels that there are a number of tricky fixtures for Antonio Conte's men to navigate.

"It is the same game," Luiz told chelseafc.com when asked of his first Stamford Bridge appearance against Liverpool next Friday night.

"My first game for Chelsea was Liverpool at home. It is big but they are always tough games here.

"Against Swansea it will not be easy, I played in draws there before, so it is always a tough game.

"Then in the league after Liverpool it is a London derby. They will be tough games."

After the Swansea and Liverpool encounters, Chelsea will meet Leicester City in the EFL Cup on September 20 before hosting London rivals Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium four days later.
