Deeney pens new Watford deal to end Leicester, Hull hopes

Watford have secured skipper Troy Deeney to a new contract.

Deeney was a target for Leicester City, Sunderland, West Ham United and Hull City this summer.

But he has signed a new four-year deal at Vicarage Road.

The striker has been at the Hornets since 2010 and his new contract would mean a total eight-year stay with the Hertfordshire outfit.
