Deeney impressed by Watford 'bullying' of Liverpool

Watford skipper Troy Deeney was pleased with his side's 'bullying' of Liverpool at Vicarage Road on Sunday.

Watford continued their extremely impressive run of form by claiming a stunning 3-0 victory over the Reds and it has to be said that the triumph was well-deserved for the Hornets.

Deeney was understandably left very pleased with his side's performance and especially at the fact that the 'minnows' were able to bully a big side like Liverpool.

Deeney told talkSPORT: "The most impressive thing about our performance today is that we bullied them. They just didn't fancy the fight. We scored after a few minutes which settled the nerves and then we dominated. Skrtel went off, he didn't fancy it, and it was a great victory.

"We've shown we're not scared of anybody. We were written off by everybody at the start of the season.

"We've had all these questioned fired at us, 'can we score goals, are we good enough for the Premier League, can we avoid relegation', and we've answered them tenfold."
