Deco is delighted with the way he has settled so quickly at Chelsea.

"I achieved a dream start with Chelsea," Deco told setantasports.com. "Playing at home, scoring and being voted man of the match was just perfect, a massive boost.

"Scolari congratulated me after the game, as well as all my partners.

"It was an important game for him as well, as it was his debut at Stamford Bridge and he wanted to show the best image possible to the fans.

"We have just played a game in England and to be champions you need to always play like this, which is not going to be easy!

"As far as we are concerned, we are not worried if Manchester United waste chances at home. The most important thing for Chelsea is winning every single game and not watching what our rivals do.

"I have settled in English football quite quickly, it was even quicker than expected, but my team-mates helped me a lot, as well as the coach and people from the club."
